Office Policies


Your appointment time is reserved solely for you. Consequently, a 24-hour cancellation policy applies to your appointment. If you are unable to cancel your appointment 24-hours in advance, a cancellation charge for the full treatment fee for the appointment will apply.


Your patient records and patient information will be kept confidential and shared only when necessary to provide care and services, or by your authorization, or when required or permitted by law.


Please do your best to keep your voice low and cell phone on a silent or quiet setting while in the office waiting room. This helps ensure that you and all other patients have a positive and uninterrupted treatment experience.Please also refrain from wearing strong fragrances or perfumes to your treatment, as many people have different reactions to strong scents.


Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Returned checks will incur a bank fee.


Medicare does not cover acupuncture treatments at this time. Many primary carriers and secondary carriers do provide acupuncture benefits. Please confirm your coverage.

Herbal medicine is not covered by any plans.

If you have insurance, please bring your insurance card with you. For your convenience, we will gladly call to verify your acupuncture coverage including eligibility and benefits. Coverage for acupuncture benefits vary per individual policy and insurance provider. Our office accepts most insurance plans that cover acupuncture. We are currently contracted with Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Kaiser, Ashlink, Motion Picture Association, and more….
Please note that you will be responsible for any portion of your bill that is not reimbursed by your insurance.
Licensed acupuncturists in the State of California are considered primary health care physicians, therefore you can self-refer to begin treatment.
